Check out the long-term vision of the Hope House Honduras (http://www.hopehousehonduras.org/#!about-us):

Long-term Vision:

The long term vision of Hogar Esperanza/Hope House is to establish a community type facility for orphaned, abused and abandoned children. This community will consist of various houses divided by age and gender with caretakers in each. The final establishment will be able to house and provide for 100 children. There will also be a school, vocational workshops, recreational areas, and gardens located on the premises. The school and workshops will also be available to children and youth in the nearby community that might otherwise not have the opportunity to obtain a quality education.

I’m excited to be part of the realization of this vision! Our team will be doing a portion of this work while we are there. The home for children currently consists of three houses, two of which are living quarters for the children, one for girls and one for boys, and an administrative house. We’re creating a community that will provide for over 100 children.
